Copper Nickel Forged Fittings is called cupronickel, it is also called Cu-Ni Threaded Pipe
Fittings. This is an alloy that consists of copper, as well as
nickel and it also has present in it, strengthening elements like
manganese and iron. Copper Nickel socket weld fittings has a Shear
Modulus (C71500 annealed) of 8300 ksi (57.2 GPa). The Elongation at
Break of Copper Nickel Fuel Fittings (rolled-H04 for flat
products/hard drawn-H80 for tubing), is 11.00% and its Elongation
at Break (annealed), is 40%.
CuNi 90-10 and CuNi 70-30 copper-nickel alloys are mainly used in
marine applications such as seawater piping, heat exchangers and
condensers. Industries include offshore oil and gas, power
generation, shipbuilding, Desalination Plants, Seawater System
Designing, Seawater System Components, Hulls of Ships & Boats,
antimicrobial touch surfaces, oil coolers, hydraulic tubing, etc.
